This painting was inspired by the stunning colors of aspen trees changing color adjacent to the evergreen pine trees intermixed in the forests found all over the state although this scene is from Norther New Mexico near Los Alamos. The fall in New Mexico is a particularly stunning time to spend time enjoying the natural beauty of the Land of Enchantment. It's hard not to fall in love with the state when you've seen these beautiful forests!
