This is a special edition painting inspired by Kailua which is a town on the east coast of Oahu in Hawaii. Maria spent some time visiting family in the state of Hawaii and decided to create a small number of special edition paintings inspired by the beauty of of the state. While it is certainly a very different landscape than New Mexico, it is stunningly beautiful in a different way.
