This painting was inspired by a peaceful home near Santa Fe, New Mexico. Adobe is a natural brick made from the earth. It has existed around the world for thousands of years and is what many traditional New Mexican structures were made from for hundreds of years. Adobe homes naturally fit into the landscape and provide both function and beauty. This home is in a beautiful setting with a coyote fence leading to the home, natural trees and plants surrounding the home, and stunning mountains in the background.
