This painting was inspired by one of the many traditional adobe houses in Santa Fe. Adobe is functional, it's beautiful, and it's a very authentic New Mexico building material. Santa Fe is a wonderful place to visit for countless reasons but one of them is certainly the beautiful structures that can be found in many parts of the city. The city itself is essentially a museum teeming with Native American, Spanish, and Latin American arts and culture.
